It is hoped that by creating activities that broaden the individual’s Bible knowledge that we can help raise a more biblical population.

Peter and Andrew were two brothers working as fishermen. Jesus prayed throughout the night while his followers slept instead of standing watch. Jesus revisited them occasionally throughout the night as he suffered, knowing what was to come. At times he was in total despair but as dawn approached he became strong again and as he returned to his sleeping follower he shouted Enough, the hour as come, here comes my betrayer!

Jesus was placed into the tomb by Joseph of Arimathea a (secret) rich follower of Jesus and possibly a councilman. (Mark 15:43) Once Joseph had heard of the death of Jesus he sought permission from Pilate to recover the body, and after purchasing a shroud he collected the body of Jesus and transported it to the tomb which is believed to have been designed for his use. This action fulfilled the prophecy of Isiah chapter 53 which stated that the grave of the “suffering servant” would be with a rich man, despite being assigned a grave with the wicked.

This burial is very unusual as Romans usually would leave crucified criminals to be food for the carrion on the cross, and Jewish treatment of the bodies was not much better and at best was placed in a location far from the city.
